San Jose, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2008

DeviceVM, the award-winning developer of Splashtop™, today announced the proliferation of their innovative software across four new models of ASUS motherboards. ASUS, the leading worldwide motherboard, components and notebook manufacturer, has integrated Splashtop onto the new P5Q family of products, bringing their offering of Splashtop-enabled motherboards to a total of twelve. The new models are: P5Q Deluxe, P5Q-WS, P5Q3 Deluxe, and P5Q-E.

“We are excited to have expanded our partnership with ASUS across many product lines,” says Mark Lee, co-founder and CEO of DeviceVM. “ASUS is not only a leading innovator in computer hardware, but is actively improving the entire PC consumer experience through software. We are excited to jointly drive the market innovation with ASUS.”

Branded “Express Gate” by ASUS, Splashtop enables users to access the Internet seconds after turning on their PC. Splashtop premiered on high-end ASUS motherboards in October 2007 and launched on mainstream M3 series in January 2008. The newest motherboards will be available in the second quarter of 2008.

“In response to great user feedback, our plan is to proliferate Express Gate across our entire motherboard product portfolio, starting with over one million motherboards per month,” says Joe Hsieh, General Manager, ASUS Motherboard Business Unit. “Consumers want to turn their PCs on and off like any other appliance, and Express Gate has made that possible.”

Splashtop enables users to read e-mail, chat with friends, share photos, or surf the Web seconds after turning on their PC. DeviceVM works with a wide range of manufacturers to incorporate Splashtop into computers. The company plans to have numerous Splashtop-enabled motherboards, desktops, and laptops available internationally in 2008.

**Computex – Splashtop will be present at the ASUS booth in Taipei International Convention Center Hall 4, June 3-7. Please contact us to setup a demo while you are there.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 28, 2005

TeamcompeteTM today announced that they are supporting leagues and team challenge play for the new Xbox360 game titles launching for Microsoft’s new generation console gaming system the Xbox360. Teamcompete.com was launched in 2003 to support the original Xbox and has now added support for the next generation console — the Xbox360.

“We deliberately architected our system to support multiple consoles with the Xbox360 becoming the second console supported along side the original Xbox”, said the Veeg, Teamcompete founder. With the launch of several games specific to the Xbox360 platform and other games promised to be backwards compatible, it will be important at some time to be able to differentiate play in the “old” and the “new” Xbox consoles. Teamcompete is ready with that capability today.

Once additional specifics of the Xbox360 are announced and known to the gaming public, Teamcompete promises a closer integration with the games and the console as they were able to do with the original Xbox. “We’re the only site that is focused exclusively on Xbox and Xbox360 competitive online team play”, said the Veeg. “We are looking to gradually add Playstation and other consoles but for now or focus remains squarely on the Microsoft family of consoles. We have always innovated gaming and competitive improvements for the Xbox and will be looking to do the same with the Xbox360 in the coming months.”

Teamcompete is a member supported community of Xbox Live gamers playing in Amateur, Sports and Professional levels of league play. Individual membership is on an annual basis and runs from $ 15-$ 40 depending on the product bundle selected. Every member of the Microsoft Xbox Live gaming community is eligible to participate on Teamcompete at no cost, however, with the limitations of not being able to participate in playoffs or prize tournaments if they are not paid members. Anyone with an Xbox or Xbox360 who joins the Microsoft Xbox Live network can participate fully in the Teamcompete Amateur League, join or form a team, and challenge and compete against the Teamcompete members and other unregistered teams on the site. Additional details are posted on the Teamcompete web site at http://www.teamcompete.com//TC3Portal/PortalSub.asp?articleid=340&zoneid=11

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) June 9, 2008

Those who like to take repair and remodeling work into their own hands can now find a wealth of related web links at the new http://www.x-hardware.com.

Developed by You, Here, Now!, a global leader in search engine optimization and dedicated content web sites, http://www.x-hardware.com provides links to local retailers as well as large national chains, selling hardware products for all needs, including electrical, plumbing, paint, tools, garden, heat, air-conditioning, woodwork, metal work, and many other uses.

“This is the alternative site for those who want to handle their own hardware needs, hence the x-,” says a spokesman for You, Here, Now! “Rather than sifting through dozens of text and display ads that bombard users on the search engines, just enter the ‘x-’ before hardware.com and you’ll be directed to some of the best available sites.”

X-Hardware.com also features links to leading retailers selling computer-related hardware, such as laptops, PCs, hard drives, and computer gaming equipment.

“Clutter on the Internet is a major hassle,” the YHN spokesman said. He noted that a recent search for ‘hardware’ on a leading search engine brought up nearly 700 million web sites and dozens of sponsored links. In contrast, http://www.x-hardware.com recommends no more than two dozen quality sites.

You, Here, Now! is one of the nation’s fastest growing search engine optimization companies, now powering more than one hundred popular web sites. You, Here, Now! is operated by writers, researchers and journalists whose job it is to create web content and blog posts that attract attention.

To learn more about You, Here, Now! or X-Hardware.com visit the YHN web site (http://www.youherenow.com) or email the company at seo @ youherenow.com. You may also phone You, Here, Now! at 213-596-8364.

Motherboard HomeWorld Releases MOBOT for Licensing

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – December 1, 2000 – Motherboard HomeWorld (http://www.motherboards.org) is releasing its comprehensive motherboard database, MOBOT, for licensing by other Web sites. Under the licensing agreement, the MOBOT interface may be customized to integrate seamlessly with the look and feel of the licensee’s site.

MOBOT is designed to allow users to easily access technical information about their motherboard that can often be difficult to obtain even from motherboard manufacturers. MOBOT contains specifications and product photos for over 1,300 motherboards, and searches may be refined using up to 21 different criteria. Searches return links to manufacturer data and complete technical specifications, including manuals and BIOS upgrades, as well as links to independent product reviews. MOBOT also allows side-by-side specification comparisons of up to 20 motherboards at once.

MOBOT provides PC hardware information and e-commerce Web sites an easy way to add valuable content and increase return traffic. Motherboard HomeWorld handles all database maintenance. In addition to “look and feel”, customization options available to the licensee include defining the range of motherboards available for searching, the option to link to default or the licensee’s own specifications, and the ability to disable the display of manufacturer and vendor information. Additionally, e-commerce sites will have the ability to include their own price for each board displayed, as well as a direct link to their order page.

Different plans are available depending on the requirements of the licensee. For more information on how to license MOBOT, visit Motherboard HomeWorld’s MOBOT licensing page at http://www.motherboards.org/mobotlic.html, or call (562) 699-9777.

About Motherboard HomeWorld

One of the few Web sites devoted exclusively to PC motherboards and motherboard-related technology, Motherboard HomeWorld offers motherboard news, reviews, articles, product releases, and a variety of tools to help users identify their existing motherboard or make motherboard purchasing decisions. For more information, visit Motherboard HomeWorld at http://www.motherboards.org.

Schenectady, NY (PRWEB) October 11, 2007

Karen Saunders, award-winning graphic designer and owner of MacGraphics Services, has just posted the latest in a series of free articles on her website. You know the difference between a good business card and a bad one. But how do you make sure yours is a card that people will hang on to? Find the answers in this new article, entitled How To Make Your First Impression Last. The article and more marketing tips can be found at http://buyappealmarketing.blogspot.com.

Business cards are something that a lot of people take for granted. They think about quantity, rather than quality. According to Saunders, a thousand poorly designed cards aren’t worth ten carefully designed business cards. The ten will do more work and go farther if you incorporate the right techniques.

“The business card is your mini-marketing tool,” says Saunders. “Sometimes people will give you their card and you’ll say to yourself, ‘Wow, this is a really nice card’. You immediately get a good feeling about them and their business before you even know what they do! This article was designed to help you create that great first impression.”

Saunders has picked up more than a few techniques for making a strong business card, and she shares seven of them in this article. Business owners can find a library of past articles on her website, dealing with topics from designing your own logo to using the psychology of colors in your marketing materials.

Upcoming articles will continue to take the mystery out of marketing. Readers will learn:

Tips on creating eye-catching covers for books and brochures.
Top design techniques so their marketing pieces will rival ones created by a professional.
The secrets to page layout, even down to what fonts work best for different markets.
How to create visual branding that will turn potential customers into paying ones.
Tips on creating the right advertising mood that will attract your perfect customers without saying a word.

To view the complete series, go to http://buyappealmarketing.blogspot.com/ .

Saunders has won awards for her book cover designs, and is recognized as an expert in the field of graphic design. She founded MacGraphics Services in 1990 and is a leading designer of marketing materials such as ads, logos, one-sheets, audio and video packaging, and book covers and interiors.
Motherboard HomeWorld, one of the few Web sites devoted exclusively to PC motherboards and motherboard-related technology, has launched a new motherboard search engine. Called Mobot, the motherboard database is designed to allow users to easily access technical information about their motherboard that can often be difficult to obtain even from motherboard manufacturers.

Using Mobot, motherboard searches may be refined using up to 21 different criteria. Searches return links to manufacturer data and complete technical specifications, including manuals and BIOS upgrades.

Mobot already features information about over 400 motherboards, and new boards are added daily, making it the most extensive motherboard database on the Web.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) April 28, 2009

Photo cards and printable greeting cards are now a part of the 21st century with the launch of GreetingBee.com, an interactive, easy and fun site that lets consumers take control of the greeting card. Instead of endlessly browsing a pre-designed selection of stock like at other card vendors, GreetingBee.com users are able customize and personalize a card from start to finish with photos, illustrations and even their own text. Launched by veteran computer game developers with more than two decades of industry experience, GreetingBee.com features cutting-edge card design technology and a vast library of graphics.

GreetingBee.com is on a mission to revive the thrill of receiving a paper card and remove the hassle from the process of sending one. GreetingBee.com calendar reminders will ensure that a special anniversary, graduation or birthday doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. As the date nears, an e-mail reminds customers to design and send a card. Customers can even pre-design a card and schedule an automatic mailing at the appropriate time to an address stored in their GreetingBee.com address book.

When it’s gift-giving time, GreetingBee.com has it covered by offering gift cards from several major brand-name retailers. When added to an order, a gift card will be tucked safely inside the custom greeting card until arrival at its destination. It’s the easiest, most ideal gift solution for even the most particular of people. The final order always includes postage, so the greeting card arrives with a first-class stamp affixed as if mailed by the gift-giver.

All printable greeting cards and photo cards from GreetingBee.com use the same high-quality card stock found at local card stores, with FSC-certified recycled paper and environmentally-friendly inks. The GreetingBee.com experience offers higher value at a price comparable to traditional greeting card outlets, so skip the time-consuming trips to the card store and post office. Log on today and bring a time-honored tradition into the 21st Century.
